Weekly Update, Not Just an Excuse to Blog anymore

Ok, let's review my week so you and I can decide if this living thing is really working for me.

Sunday - caught my vacuum doing it with someone else.

Monday - Blogged about Sunday, which as you know is a very common blogger trick.

Tuesday - This day was accidentally erased from my hard drive.

Wednesday - I used the Canadian health care system and not only lived to blog about it, but still have all my body parts including my kidneys. (that's for all you Charlie the Unicorn fans)

Thursday- Gave Steve Jobs a new, very good idea for his next iNvention. He'll run with it, won't give me any credit and I will be left with no options because let's face it, he can afford the good lawyers. But I don't really care as long as I get a free iPoof.

And now it's Friday, which is a very very good thing because

1. Dave has worked absolutely insane hours this week and I have been left with myself. That's with myself, not by myself and as you all know being with myself is way way worse. Anyway, that is over and I don't mind telling you I, for one, am looking forward to a little alone time.

2. Because I am a very understanding wife and huge supporter of the breadwinning male, I am being totally rewarded with a restaurant dinner tonight.

3. Even if there isn't a real reason why Friday is better than other days of the week - let's say you don't have that whole Monday-Friday work schedule - for some reason Friday = good is absolutely branded into your brain, so even if you have something really awful scheduled for Friday, like a root canal or a colonoscopy or a party filled with really boring people you still wake up happy.

Because - it's Friday.

  3. Julie - thank God! It's so nice to have readers. Not that I'm needy or anything.

Mommy - well, I understand because I used to say that too - back when I owned your run of the mill Dirt Devils.

Back then, I thought a vacuum is a vacuum even though others would say to me "Janine, you can do better." Turns out they were right.. Now I have an Infinity vacuum and while I love it to death, others are always giving my vacuum "the eye."

It's hard to be with someone so perfect.

  4. i totally love a breadwinning male. I just thought they were a myth. Does that mean Santa Claus is real too?

  5. Fragrant Liar - you know, these days I think that more people believe in Santa than in a breadwinning male!! (and perhaps with good reason! They're out there, but I think many women are afraid to admit that they'd like that?
